BIOGRAPHY

Douglas G. Hurley is a retired NASA astronaut and former U.S. Marine Corps colonel and fighter/test pilot. He piloted STS-127 and commanded STS-135, the final Space Shuttle mission. He then flew as joint commander on SpaceX Demo-2, the first crewed flight of Dragon. He retired from NASA in 2021.
